Welcome to Bullock
Bullock is a neighbouhood in Markham that can easily be considered Old Markham and if you spoke to any of the local residents they would in fact tell you that it is Old Markham. This is mostly because many of the homes in this neighbourhood were among the first homes built way back in the day. The area along Bullock Drive consists mostly of warehouses and businesses including a Loblaws Superstore and a massive LCBO.
This community also includes a neighbourhood on the south side of Hwy 7. (between McCowan and Hwy. 48) known as "The Conservation" because it runs along the northern border of the Milne Dam Conservation Park.
Most of the homes in this neighbourhood were built on fairly wide lots and it is not uncommon for homebuyers to to knock down some of the older homes in favour of building newer and larger custom homes.
