INSTALLING A LOCKBOX

We will arrange to get a spare key from you and install a lockbox. If you do not have a spare key available and would like help getting one cut, let us know and we will look after that for you.

Lockboxes are often installed a week or two prior to going live on the MLS and are used by our trusted service providers (stager, photographer, cleaner, etc.) if you are not able to let them into the home.  Buyer Agents will also use the lockbox to access your property once it's for sale.

Releasing lockbox codes to Buyer Agents is closely monitored by Century 21 Leading Edge Realty and done under the strictest of confidence.  When each appointment is complete, the Agent or service provider will lock up your home and safely return the key to the lockbox. 

For houses, the lockbox is often installed on or near your front door.  

For condos, the building usually has a designated lockbox area or it can be installed in the nearest stairwell if they do not.
